Weekly ideas to stimulate reflection, inspire new possibilities and encourage new ways of doing and being.
1. Test the water
This week’s word is: Champion
The word "champion" can have several meanings, depending on the context:
Contest winner: A person or team who has surpassed all rivals in a competition.
Supporter or advocate: Someone who actively supports or defends a cause, belief, or individual.
Excellent example: A person who is an outstanding example of a particular quality or skill.
The word champion originates from the Latin word campio which referred to a fighter or someone who excelled in a contest or battle, essentially a "warrior" or "combatant".
What is your definition of champion and how do you relate to it? Discuss the question here.
